Management Team and Advisors

One of the most important factors in the success of a company is the people who are running the organization. It’s extremely important to ensure you have all business aspects covered in the form of a Management Team or in the form of Advisors.

It’s important to diversify your management team to have as many skills sets as possible to cover all angles when making decisions. Member of you management team should cover any weaknesses that you may have and bring a unique view point to the decision making process.

Advisors can come in many forms, paid professional advisors such as accountants or lawyers provide a much needed expertise in a certain areas and do so as a paid service without a vested interest in the business.  An advisory board could contain a variety of people how assist in the management of the business, members of this board may be compensated for their assistance and generally act with the best interest of the business in mind.

Another form of advice could come in the form of a mentor, generally someone with more experience in a field who has taken on the role to advice and counsel on a variety of topics.
