Incentives & Financial Assistance Programs

Incentive Programs in New Brunswick are primarily the responsibility of the Government of New Brunswick and the Federal Government.

New Brunswick offers attractive incentives and tailored financial packages for qualifying new operations. They use a customized package approach allows them to design the right assistance portfolio to ensure your company will be sustainable in the province.

There are both federal and provincial incentives and assistance that may prove right for you – from tax credits and R&D incentives to loan guarantees, start-up capital and assistance in staff recruitment and training. The most effective mix of incentives will vary by operation. The following brief descriptions identify the more commonly available incentive programs at the federal and provincial level. Many can be used in conjunction with each other to offset a significant portion of implementation costs.
